Madonna was hoping for divine intervention as she landed flat on her back during a performance of Like A Prayer on one of her MDNA world tour shows.

The queen of pop was playing the hit at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on Saturday night when an overzealous fan tugged on her hand causing her to fall.
The embarrassing moment was caught on film and the 54-year-old's horror can be seen as she realises she is going to stumble.
She then tips backwards on to the floor with her legs in the air but, ever the professional, carries on singing throughout.

The tumble was just the latest incident in what has been an eventful tour for the singer, with Madonna getting in trouble on several occasions for her various on-stage antics.
The star was blasted for her use of replica guns during her set, most notably when she performed in Colorado just months after the fatal Aurora shootings.
Madonna was also branded 'stupid' and 'cheap' after she stripped off and groped herself in a bizarre homage to of Malala Yousafzai, the 14-year-old Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban.
