Robbie Williams has dealt bandmate Gary Barlow a huge blow by signing up for the Strictly Come Dancing final and snubbing its rival The X Factor.
The 38-year-old singer is believed to have previously signed up for the series finale of The X Factor, on which his pal Gary is a judge, but after seeing how well its BBC rival has done in the ratings this year, he's apparently switched teams.
And it could be a good move as the final is set to attract more than 14million viewers when it is aired on December 22, it is reported.
A source said: 'Robbie has realised that Strictly is the one which everyone is talking about. It's a big coup for the Beeb. They've bagged Girls Aloud and Kylie too.'
Although there has been no official line from the BBC as of yet, a source added to the Daily Star: 'Robbie is definitely doing our show. He knows we've got the bigger audience.'
No doubt Strictly bosses will be hoping Robbie remembers he's on the BBC and tones down his performance a little.
Last week he made an appearance on The X Factor Italia, performing with a dancer who wore nothing but a pair of nude thongs.
Robbie is due to appear on The X Factor results show this weekend still.
