They've sung their hearts out for the first time, now it's that moment when one of them has to leave. Follow the action from the first X Factor results show of 2012 with our live blog.
Nobody wants to be the first person to leave The X Factor live shows, particularly when there's all that fame, fortune and potentially life-changing record contract at stake, But with the first live show done and dusted, elimination is looming for one of our hopefuls, following the first public vote of the series.
Eleven of the 13 acts will of course pass untouched to next week's show, but for the bottom two there's the spectre of the sing-off and one last chance to please the judges in their bid to remain in the competition.
But who will be in the firing line? Could it be Rylan, after his lack of love on Twitter and pasting from Gary Barlow on Saturday's show? Could it be Union J after their performance was branded disappointing by the judges?
Nobody is safe - not even favourites Ella Henderson or Jahmene Douglas, with the public vote being the first chance to see who the viewers want in the competition rather than the judges.
But before all that we've got performances from Leona Lewis and Ne-Yo to look forward to, to say nothing of the usual filler about how 'mahvellous' everybody was. So as the contestants wait backstage chewing what's left of their nails, follow all the action with our live blog....
