James Arthur appeared to be making the most of his X Factor success after reaching the semi-final - emerging from a London club with a face full of lipstick.

The 24-year-old - who made it through to next weekend's semi-final after narrowly avoiding elimination last Sunday - celebrated his triumph with a night out at Mayfair haunt Whisky Mist.
And when he emerged later on he was greeted by crowds of admirers - but the red lipstick marks on his face suggested he may already have gained a few new ones while he was inside the nightspot.
James - who hit the club with a group of male friends on Sunday night - cemented his status as an X Factor heartthrob following a performance of Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On on Saturday night which left the female judges swooning.

'I think it's fair to say a lot of babies may be conceived tonight in your name,' said a clearly smitten Nicole Scherzinger. 'You have so much soul, you murdered it - you are like hot butter that melts in our mouths.'
Meanwhile Tulisa also added, 'Only you could get away with singing that song, it was sexy, it was cheeky.'
Prior to his night out James revealed that he had plans to forge a music career whether he won the series in a fortnight's time or not.

Speaking on The Xtra Factor on ITV2 he said: 'I honestly think anyone can win at this point.
'I want to be in the final first and foremost but I think regardless of whether I win or not I'm going to make the album I've always dreamed of making.'
