The FBI has been drafted in to Simon Cowell's X Factor USA after a suspicious white powder was sent to new host Khloe Kardashian.

FBI Public Affairs Specialist Laura Eimiller confirmed the package at CBS's LA studios, saying: 'The item was field tested with negative results. We have a continuing investigation.'
The 28-year-old presenter is said to be taking her unwanted delivery in her stride after tweeting, 'Awkward'.
A show source said: 'Khloe is fine. The studio has hired extra security. Khloe is heading to rehearsals right now. She is not worried.'

It is believed security around the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star has now been beefed up.
This week judge Britney Spears was forced to 'laugh off' claims that she is not getting along with Simon's latest recruit.
Kardashian and former Saved By The Bell actor Mario Lopez were signed on to front the show this year after Simon gave Welsh presenter Steve Jones the boot after just one season.
