Hugo Taylor v David Haye: I'm A Celebrity Face Off
Nov 16th 2012, 15:51

Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor has fared miserably in the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle compared to boxing champ David Haye, but which macho (or not so macho) camper will come out on top in our Face Off this week?

Going into I'm A Celebrity...

David Haye, complete with his string of prestigious boxing titles, went into the jungle presumably to show off his softer side after a number of press conference brawls overshadowed his fighting prowess.

Before entering camp, he said: 'I have never been a team player. I have chosen a sport that has always been about me.'

Hugo, on the other hand, signed up to the ITV show in a bid to kick-start his TV career, just like TOWIE star Mark Wright before him.

Ahead of his trip Down Under, the privileged 26-year-old said he was worried about going without his home comforts.

'Taking yourself away from the first world of champagne for a bit is going to be interesting,' he said.

Winner: David Haye may have swung it in the looks department on first impressions but his initial confidence seemed a bit overbearing. Hugo was a marginally more likeable from the off, we'd say.

Jungle highlight so far

For the viewing public watching at home, it's the daily jungle showers which have really perked everyone up.

Helen Flanagan and Ashley Roberts have had plenty of bikini air time but it's 32-year-old Haye's fine physique which has really set pulses racing.

In his MIC days Hugo came across as a true gent who always managed to wangle himself out of tricky situations.

However, his composed persona went out of the window when he burst into tears after the celebs' first day in the outback.

Sobbing into his jungle gear, he said: 'I can't believe I'm crying over something so stupid. The smallest thing in here can completely set you off. It's astonishing.'

Winner: Although David's pert behind has been a welcome sight, Hugo's tears have been a joy to watch. Mwahahaha.

Survival skills

The campmates will have no qualms about saying David Haye is undoubtedly the most physically able of the bunch.

He's conquered every challenge he's been set and has been working out while the others mosey around camp.

He's also very tolerant of the likes of Helen and is always trying to lift the mood. He's a good all-rounder and is not as arrogant and selfish as he initially comes across.

Hugo, on the other hand, is about as together as Helen going into a bushtucker trial.

His campmates aren't overly thrilled with his conversational contributions and often find themselves begrudging him his superior lifestyle.

Winner: When Hugo beats David Haye at something (anything) maybe people will start to consider him as a potential contender. Haye wins this one hands down.

Overall winner

Haye's good nature and exemplary physique may have prevailed so far but watching Hugo lose his marbles has been, overall, more entertaining.

His endless wobblies aren't showing any signs of slowing just yet, Hugo wins - even if it's for all the wrong reasons!

Who do you think should have won this week's I'm A Celebrity Face Off?
