Jennifer Lopez has said she is hurt by a chambermaid's claim that she was fired for knocking on the diva's door and asking for an autograph.
Pray Dodaj was swiftly given her marching orders after two of J-Lo's assistants turned her away after she went tapping on the door.
But the 43-year-old I'm Real singer says the worker's dismissal from the Melia Dusseldorf in Germany wasn't on her orders.
The star, who played a hotel maid in 2002 flick Maid In Manhattan, said: 'C'mon thought you knew me better than this.. Would never get anyone fired over an autograph. 1st I heard of this was on twitter. #hurtful'.
Dodaj told German paper Bild: 'I cleaned on her floor. And I am an incredibly big fan so I took all my courage and rang the bell to get an autograph.'
'But I was rejected by two assistants at the door.
'A day later the cleaning company that employed me at the hotel called and said that Ms Lopez had complained.
'I was fired right there on the phone. Because of an autograph.'
The hotel's director, Cyrus Heydarian said: 'She has acted contrary to the contractual arrangements and disturbed the privacy of our guests.'
