Camp judge Louie Spence has been given the chop from the Dancing On Ice panel to make way for the return of bitchy judge Jason Gardiner.
He judged the show for just one series when he replaced Gardiner in January but it appears the Pineapple Dance star is no longer required as the Australian judge is making a comeback.
Louie took to his Twitter account to end speculation surrounding his spot on the panel and confirm the news to his fans.
'To all asking no I won't be judging @Dancingonice this year Jason is back …,' he tweeted.
However, although it may be good news for fans of Jason, someone who might not be quite as happy to see him back is his arch nemesis Karen Barber.
The pair famously fell out during a live episode in 2011 which saw Jason ridicule Karen for being moved off the panel to be a coach instead.
Luckily she is keeping her spot as a coach to the celebrity skaters in the new year too.
Jason's return comes as a last-ditch attempt to improve ratings on the flagging reality show, The Sun report.
He will join top judge Robin Cousins on the panel as well as a new female judge to replace Katarina Witt who has also left the show.
The new series of Dancing On Ice will hit TV screens in January.
So far, celebrities rumoured to have a spot on the show include Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, Olympic bronze medallist Beth Tweddle, TV star Anthea Turner, Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie, ex-EastEnders heartthrob Matt Lapinskas, TV presenter Keith Chegwin and TOWIE star Lauren Goodger.
