Ailing X Factor star Lucy Spraggan has been left out of The X Factor 2013 Live Tour, it has been revealed.
The popular contestant was forced to quit the show after weeks of illness but show bosses have opted out from inviting her back on stage when the road show kicks off in Manchester on January 27.
Instead only the show's last remaining seven stars including James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas, Rylan Clark, Christopher Maloney and groups Union J and District3 will hit the road.
The latest blow to the singer-songwriter came after she emerged for the first time since pulling out of the TV contest when she was pictured giving a female friend a tender hug.
She had thanked her loyal fans for their love and support after it was revealed she would no longer be in the competition.
She tweeted: 'A massive thank you for all the support throughout the show, you've been incredible. I can't wait to perform again. #thankyou'.
Bouncing back she told her followers that she was wasting no time in getting back to business as she hit the studio.
The 21-year-old tweeted: 'Good morning, think it's time to put pen to paper today. #writing'.
As for her remaining rivals, they were celebrating the opportunity.
Front runner Ella Henderson, 16, said: 'I cannot believe that at only 16 I have not only had the amazing opportunity and experience of appearing on X Factor I am now fulfilling a dream by taking part in an arena tour'.
