Lucy was forced to bow out of the show last week after she missed two consecutive shows through illness.

And yesterday it emerged she had been culled from the nationwide arena tour, which can see acts make as much as £100,000 each.

But, according to The Sun, the talented singer-songwriter has now been given another lifeline after show chiefs announced Lucy would still have a place on tour if she wanted it.

Shortly after her untimely exit, Lucy thanked fans for their support and promised them she'd be getting back to her music right away.

The 21-year-old tweeted: 'A massive thank you for all the support throughout the show, you've been incredible. I can't wait to perform again. #thankyou'.

She added today: 'Getting back to doing what I love most. #bestremedy'

The 18-date tour kicks off in Manchester on January 27 and will see performances from X Factor favourites James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas, Rylan Clark, Christopher Maloney, Union J and District 3.
