Misha B didn't lose any sleep over her spat with Tulisa Contostavlos on last year's X Factor as she never spoke to her in the first place.
The singer – who was accused by the judge of bullying contestants on the show – told Metro: 'What a lot of people will probably never understand is that I never spoke to Tulisa anyway.
'Kelly Rowland was my mentor. When I see Tulisa it's a "hi, bye" thing.'
Gushing over her 'favourite' contestant on this year's show, James Arthur, she said: 'I always go on YouTube to watch back his performances; I love him as an artist. I'd definitely love to meet him.'
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old may have put romance to the back of her mind to concentrate on her career but she would happily dip her toes back into the dating pool if 'the right person' came along.
She also admitted she is still in shock over her best newcomer nomination at this weekend's Mobo Awards. 'It doesn't feel real, it is really humbling,' she added.
Her new single Do You Think Of Me is out Sunday November 4th.
