If sales of the boys' dolls are anything to go by, 1D's lone Irish member is the new favourite amongst fans.
The 19-year-old has racked up just over 25 per cent of the dolls' total sales this year, closely followed by Louis Tomlinson, 20, who scored 21 per cent.

Consequently, 1D frontman Styles has been bumped down to third place.
Sales of Hazza's miniature have dropped 15 per cent (to 20.4 per cent overall) while Niall's figurine has seen a seven per cent jump to account for a quarter of the overall total.

Zayn Malik stands in fourth place (19.3 per cent) and poor old Liam Payne's doll has proved to be the least popular of the bunch for the second year in a row, with just 13 per cent of sales.
An Amazon.co.uk spokesperson said: 'It's no longer the foppish curls of Harry but the Irish charm of Niall that seems to be a hit with One Direction fans.'

The sales this year are fairly evenly spread across all five singers, unlike last year where Harry clocked up the most sales and the rest failed to get a look in.
