Nicky Byrne: Strictly Come Dancing criticism makes my children cry Nov 19th 2012, 22:02 Strictly Come Dancing star Nicky Byrne says his twin boys are taking the judges' cutting comments very much to heart. Strictly Come Dancing's Nicky Byrne has admitted some of the judges' comments have made his children cry (Picture: BBC/Guy Levy) The Westlife singer has been on the receiving end of some tough remarks of late, only narrowly escaping the chop on Sunday after finding himself in the dance-off with Daybreak showbusiness correspondent Richard Arnold. Unfortunately his sons are finding the comments hard to take, with Nicky explaining: 'The babysitter told me one of the lads had tears in his eyes while daddy was on screen getting criticised by the judges. They're at that age when daddies and mummies are the best thing in the world.' But while he's struggling to master the moves, his five-year-olds, Jay and Rocco, have perfected their impersonations of the judges. The 34-year-old singer told New! magazine: 'They've got great Bruno impressions and they've got Len's "Seven!" down to a tee! They want daddy to do well.'
