Rihanna fans were up in arms after the pop princess put on a disappointing performance at the Westfield Christmas lights switch-on in east London.
The Bajan hitmaker arrived one hour late to the festive ceremony at the shopping centre in Stratford last night, much to the dismay of her diehard fans who had been patiently waiting for their idol in the freezing cold.
When RiRi eventually showed, she performed her new track Diamonds before making a hasty exit and heading over to her second gig of the night.
And when fans got wind of the hefty £500,000 pay packet she allegedly received for the brief appearance, they were further outraged.
'It's ridiculous. I was surprised she only did one song given the fee she was paid. She didn't even finish it,' one fan told The Sun.
'Rihanna's always late. It's no good,' the 21-year-old student added.
Meanwhile, others took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
Another disappointed fan said: 'So ppl slept outside Westfield since 2am, got wristbands at 6am, waited for Rihanna who was 2hrs late - she sung ONE song, then left? Peak.'
But Rihanna wasn't around long enough to pick up on the glum faces in the crowd as she was whisked off to the HMV Forum in Kentish Town for the latest leg of her 777 tour.
The private gig saw her belt out the her usual classics, as well as a few new ones, for 2,500 strong audience which included the likes of Leigh-Ann Pinnock from Little Mix, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke and Aston Merrygold from JLS.
The 777 tour sees the 24-year-old star perform in seven countries in as many days as part of her promotional tour for her seventh album, Diamonds.
London was sixth on the list having already performed in Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris and Berlin.
