Record labels are chomping at the bit to sign The X Factor's latest export, Ella Henderson, but music mogul Simon Cowell is confident he will come out on top.
The X Factor mastermind is up against a lot of stiff competition when it comes to tying down the talented 16-year-old, with record labels Columbia, Epic and RCA all trying to snap her up.
And although all three labels fall under Sony Music's empire, just like his own, Cowell is confident Ella will side with Syco after hatching a plan to make her in to the next Leona Lewis.
Ella's dad and manager Sean is currently in negotiations but the deal will not be announced until this year's finalist is crowned on December 9.
A source said: 'Ella is the most exciting thing to have come out of this year's X Factor.
'Simon can't believe she got the boot but he's not losing any sleep over it as he can see the pound signs in his eyes.
'He's confident Syco will get her but if she goes elsewhere within Sony he's still quids in,' the insider told The Sun.
But until she hits the big time Ella - who last night performed at the Daybreak Christmas Party - had been intending to do the usual club circuit like the other X Factor rejects before her.
However, she has been forced to pull out of the half hour set lined up for her at Bushwackers club in Swindon tonight because European law states she can not perform after midnight because of her young age.
Craig Pinches, one of Bushwackers' event organisers, said: 'She was due to perform at 12.30am but there is a law that says because she is 16 she can't work after midnight.
'It is the same situation with other clubs across the country where she was due to perform as well. It is a shame but it is nobody's fault, it is all down to her age.'
District 3, Kye Sones, Jade Ellis, Carolynne Poole, Melanie Masson and MK1 have all visited the club on their rounds.
