EXCLUSIVE: Devastated X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos won't throw in the towel after the show descended into a farce when her protégé Ella Henderson was booted out on Sunday.

Instead, she wants to use her 'out of proportion' fame and fortune to be the 16-year-old Grimbsy girl's guardian angel.
Speaking to me in her dressing room moments after the shock result, the 24-year-old put things in perspective. 'I would never quit the show,' she insisted.
'At the end of the day, I've got to where I am as a solo artist with The X Factor.'
'I'm not saying musically my music wasn't good enough. I still believe Young would have gone to No.1 but the way that I have been blown out of proportion is fully down to The X Factor and I am grateful for that and I would never bite the hand that feeds you.'

She's ready to share her good fortune with Ella. 'Ella really wants to pursue her career and spend the next few months in London. I said to her I want her to stay with me at my house whenever she's in London.'
'There's more of a family environment, she's only 16 and I don't want her staying in hotels. She can stay with me at my house with me and Gareth [her PA].'
Despite losing her acts, Tulisa was chuffed to see the contestants sing her music on Sunday.
'That was like a reality check like "let me pinch myself for a sec"', she said.
'Two years ago, I was watching The X Factor. Now I am on the panel watching people sing my song.'
