Tulisa pulled out all the stops and even managed to outshine her X Factor co-judge Nicole Scherzinger as she turned up to the Music Industry Trust Awards Dinner looking stunning in a sophisticated black number.
The X Factor beauties arrived at London's Grosvenor House Hotel to support head judge Gary Barlow as he was awarded the **.
But while the night was definitely not about their musical abilities, the two ladies went to battle in the style stakes yet again with the former N-Dubz star coming out on top.
Tulisa looked gorgeous in a sophisticated mid-length black dress which she wore with a wide chained belt. She was seen mingling inside the hotel with her ex-boyfriend and N-Dubz bandmate Fazer who are now firm friends after splitting earlier this year.
Nicole also opted for black but the satin number, which came complete with cut-out panelling, did nothing to show off her style credentials and was rather unflattering with the fitted nature of the dress giving her a round bulge on her stomach.
Luckily Nicole won back a few style points with her glamorous up-do and simple make-up.
Strictly Come Dancing favourite Kimberley Walsh was among the other ladies who donned their glad rags for the occasion, and looked stunning in a red lace dress that showed off her trademark curves. She drew even more attention to the bold number by wearing her hair up and applying lashings of red lipstick.
Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon looked pretty in a white collared dress with delicate lace arms. She teamed her chic look with pale pink court shoes and a bag to match.
Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack swapped her usual shorts for a red leather skirt, which equally showed off her pins, and teamed it with a cream blouse and black accessories.
Her X Factor colleague Dermot O'Leary was also there to show his support, looking dapper in a smart black suit.
Myleene Klass added a splash of sex appeal to Gary's big night, turning up in a saucy red sequin one-shoulder dress which showcased her enviable figure.
She was later seen braving the cold with Tulisa as the pair left the venue but the X Factor judge wrapped up warm in a jacket she had borrowed.
The dinner was held in aid of the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and BRIT Trust and was organised by the British Recorded Music Industry (BPI).
Gary looked ultra sharp for his big night in a Dolce & Gabbana suit and was clearly excited about the evening, tweeting before the event: 'So excited for tonight's Music Industry Trust award dinner. Looking forward to catching up with family, friends and colleagues.'
As well as Sir Elton John flying in from the US especially to give Gaz the award, he was joined by all of his Take That band members who later performed with him on stage.
Before performing last night, Gary said: 'I've been doing this for 22 years now, and the one thing that's more apparent to me than ever before is how much I love performing.
'To be able to do it, I feel really lucky, I never want to turn my back on it. It's so special when you get something like this, because it's recognised within the industry.
'I'm a lover of this industry, I'd do anything to protect it and when you're given something from that industry, I'm honoured.'
Prince Charles also gave the X Factor star a round of applause by video link, telling the singer: 'Over the past 25 years, you have become one of the great stars of the British music industry and you are the very embodiment of that rare species, a national treasure.'
