The X Factor's Christopher Maloney has returned to Twitter just three days after he dramatically quit the site to focus on his music.
Gary Barlow's last remaining act signed-off on Tuesday having been inundated with death threats in the wake of Ella Henderson's untimely exit.
X Factor fans hurled abuse at Christopher following Dermot O'Leary's shock announcement on Sunday night results show, with many suggesting the former cruise ship singer should have got the boot instead of the phenomenal 16-year-old.
But it would seem the wannabe couldn't keep away from micro-blogging site and made a prompt return this morning, insisting the brief break had done him the world of good.
He tweeted: 'Good mornin guys! IM BACK! Thank u 4 all ur love, help an support ova this week. Bin tough, but determined not 2 let it get me down. Love u x'
And his perfectly timed return meant he was able to plug his Daybreak appearance this morning too.
He added: 'Tune in to @Daybreak this morning as i'll be on the sofa with the other finalists xx really hope your all ok! Missed you xx'
Meanwhile, Christopher's fellow X Factor hopeful Rylan Clark quit Twitter yesterday evening after being bombarded with similar abuse.
Hitting out at online trolls in an online rant, he began: 'Don't think people understand some of the stuff that I get sent day in and day out. Some of you should be locked away for your comments regarding my sexuality, it's absolutely disgraceful.'
But Rylan's exit appeared to be more of a permanent one.
He wrapped up the message: 'This is me signing off and look forward to meeting everyone that has supported me throughout sometime soon. Lots of love. Rylan x.'
