Strictly Come Dancing star Lisa Riley has said the BBC show makes her feel like she's in Dynasty after 'playing mingers' in TV shows for years.
The former Emmerdale actress told TV Biz: 'Nobody can explain how I feel right now.
'I spend my life playing mingers and all of a sudden I feel like I'm in Dynasty.'
Her performance on the show, which saw her become the first female to pick up her male partner, was praised by the judges and saw her top the leaderboard.
It picked up 30 points out of a possible 40 and judges Darcey Bussell, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, all expressed their delight at her moves.
Craig said: 'Just three words darling: You can dance.'
Bruno added: 'I love you.'
Lisa had been backed to be this series' joke act, following in the footsteps of John Sargeant and Ann Widdecome, with Ladbrokes giving her odds of 100/1 to pick up the trophy.
However, her performance at the weekend and the comments from the judging panel have seen her odds slashed to 16/1.
Lisa now hopes that her very public success on the show will help other women to embrace life, whatever their size.
She said: 'If I can inspire one woman to get up and dance, then I've done my job.'
