Cheryl Cole took on the role of supportive best friend as she turned up to Strictly Come Dancing to support her pal and Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh.
The Geordie singer was sat on the front row last night as she watched Walsh sashay across the dancefloor with her professional partner Pasha Kovalev.
And it was clear she was happy to be there as she was pictured grinning wildly and often standing up and clapping as she watched Kimberley and the other celebrity dancers try to impress judges Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Len Goodman.
Cheryl was clearly excited about heading to the BBC studios to watch her pal too, tweeting beforehand: 'On my way to see @KimberleyJWalsh Sooo excited #ShakeThat.'
She certainly played the supportive friend role to perfection as she sat in the front row of the audience watching all of the performances before standing up for Kimberley's and looking worried when it came to the judges' comments.
But she needn't have worried as Kimberley scored an impressive 34 out of a possible 40 points for her Viennese Waltz - her highest yet.
Darcy Bussell said of the dance: 'Such an emotive performance. You really moved me. A wonderful performance, well done.'
Cheryl dressed glamorously for the occasion in a short black dress with an embellished collar.
She wore her hair in a stylish up-do and applied lashings of red lipstick.
Cheryl also took the opportunity to pass judgement on her friend's performance, tweeting: 'She was AMAZING !!!!! Should have been all 9s if you ask me !!!! Lol #proud.'
The pair later headed backstage to Walsh's dressing room where Cheryl tweeted a picture of her planting a big kiss on her dancing pal's cheeks with the caption: 'After show kisses.'
