Denise Van Outen has been told to get rid of her regular Strictly Come Dancing partner after blowing away the judges with a different one.
The TV star's dance partner James Jordan was forced to step out of rehearsals after falling down the stairs and suffering ankle injuries.
This left the former Big Breakfast host rehearsing with stand-in Ian Waite.
However, the professional vowed to dance through the pain, and made it to the show after a specialist gave him the green light to perform on Thursday.
Despite her turbulent rehearsal schedule, the 38-year-old bagged the highest score of the series so far, with 35 points out of a possible 40.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood even joked: 'I would consider swapping partners.'
However, Denise stayed loyal to her long-time dance partner, insisting: 'No, I'm keeping James.'
Van Outen, who is well known for her musical theatre background, slipped into a sultry red dress for the performance, with the dance being set to The White Stripes' hit Seven Nation Army.
Denise has said of dancing with James Jordan: 'Its been lovely, it's every girls dream to double up. It's been really nice and Ian is really lovely, he's been very helpful. But he's [James] been barking orders at us.'
