The Girls Aloud star is swapping festivities in the North East to meet American Tre's parents for the first time, indicating that the couple's relationship is blossoming.
One of Chezza's pals told the Sun that the X Factor judge was ' delighted' that dancer Tre invited her to spend the festive season with his family.
'Christmas is a big deal to Cheryl and she always takes time off to just relax with her family and chill out,' they revealed.
'She is looking forward to being able to spend time with Tre and meet his family. And Tre is equally excited. He's mad about Cheryl and is desperate to show her off to his family and friends.'
The source also added that the pair have 'grown increasingly close' over the past few weeks, and the relationship is 'going from strength to strength'.
Tre has already been given the green light from Cheryl's family after meeting them at a party for her brother Garry in Hollywood.
It appears that the Fight For This Love singer has been able to move on from her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole after releasing a tell-all book about her past last month.
