Helen Flanagan unceremoniously succumbed to her fear of heights at the first hurdle as I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! gets underway.
The former Coronation Street star's acting skills quickly went out of the window as she got to work on the high wire challenge that had been set for her and the rest of her team.
In scenes due to air tonight, the 22-year-old actress struggles to mask her fear as she prepares to walk the tightrope mid-air in an unflattering crash helmet and harness.
Helen failed to hold back the tears - sending her eye make-up streaming down her face - as she walked across the high wire strung across the jungle canopy on her way into camp.
The actress, who revealed her fear of heights before entering the jungle, was egged on by the rest of the Croc Creek gang - which also includes David Haye, Brian Conley, Charlie Brooks and Linda Robson - and eventually emerged the other side after the painstaking ordeal.
TV star Conley walked straight across without hesitation, while Linda Robson fell off the wire and dangled high above the trees.
Elsewhere, Hugo Taylor was the first to admit his regret at signing up to the show as he and David Haye went head-to-head in the very first bushtucker trial.
Representing team Snake Rock - which also consists of Nadine Dorries, Colin Baker, Eric Bristow and Ashley Roberts - Hugo and his nemesis were put into boxes which was then suspended above the jungle canopy.
In typical I'm A Celeb style, the sides and bottoms of the boxes dropped off and the contestants were left dangling in a perspex box as they foraged for keys guarded by the likes of cockroaches, rats and maggots in order to unlock access to a large button, which when pressed indicated the winner.
'I am never putting myself forward for anything like this ever again,' complained Hugo.
'I hope you know I'm allergic to cockroaches by the way. Didn't I put that on my form?!' David joked.
