Fern Britton has become the latest casualty of Strictly Come Dancing, losing out to Kimberley Walsh and Pasha Kovalev who were saved by the judges.
Her exit is a double blow as she lost her place on the show just one week before the live Strictly special at Wembley Arena.
Fern and her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev became the fifth couple to be sent home after trying to impress the judges with sashays and twirls on the ballroom dancefloor.
The TV star found herself in the bottom two with partner Artem against Kimberley Walsh and her partner Pasha Kovalev.
After both couples performed for a second time, the judges gave their verdict and all chose to save Kimberley.
Craig said: 'It's a no brainer – Kimberley and Pasha'.
Darcy also saved the Girls Aloud star, saying: 'The cleanest performance for me was Kimberley and Pasha.'
Bruno Tonioli added: 'Well with all due respect, I thought one couple was outstanding and that couple is Kimberley & Pasha.'
Speaking after the decision was made, Fern reflected on her time in the competition, saying: 'This is the best party on the television, it's the best programme in the world, and I'm thrilled to have been part of it.
'My ticket on the train has run out. Everyone else – good luck, good luck, good luck! It's the best party. You've got dancing in the drawing room, you've got snogging upstairs, you've got throwing up in the garden. It's been fantastic. You really do live that – the throwing up mostly!
'Artem, I've loved it. I wouldn't have swapped you for anything. There have been highs and lows, we've got to know each other pretty well, and I do adore you… and Kimberley and Pasha are fantastic.'
And Artem added: 'It has been very lovely.'
This week Sir Bruce Forsyth took a week off leaving Claudia Winkleman to step into his shoes alongside Tess Daly.
Next weekend is the Strictly Come Dancing Children In Need extravaganza on Saturday 17th November at 6.30pm.
