Suspended Tory MP Nadine Dorries is in for one hell of a ride in the I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of here jungle as voters in her constituency are going to make sure she is forced to do every single grisly Bushtucker trial.
Nadine was yesterday suspended from the Tory party by Prime Minister David Cameron after it emerged she had agreed to take part in the ITV reality show.
And now, as punishment, voters in her Mid Bedfordshire constituency are planning on racking up some expensive phone bills by calling up every day to vote for her to do the nasty Bushtucker trials.
Some members of her constituency are angry she has decided to go on the show, for which she will be payed £40,000, so want to reap revenge, according to The Sun.
One user online wrote: 'We should all vote for her to do every bushtucker trial,' which was followed by another adding: 'This might be the first time I vote for Nadine Dorries.'
She isn't just receiving flack from those in her constituency though.
An 'urgent meeting' has been called to take place over her reality TV decision.
And her local party are said to be seething after she told them she was simply taking a break to film a documentary.
Of course there are some MPs who think she's made the right choice and want Nadine, nicknamed Mad Nad thanks to her fiery side, to stay in for as long as possible.
Communities Secretary Eric Pickles reportedly said: 'I will be voting to keep her in as long as possible.'
Nadine might have sparked an outcry by signing up to the crocodile penis-munching show, but according to the newspaper, show bosses are planing on keeping her blissfully unaware of the storm she has caused back home and she has been labelled 'uncontactable'.
The 55-year-old flew to Australia yesterday ahead of filming for the reality programme.
She will be the first MP the show has ever secured and is set to rub shoulders with the likes of former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks, Birds Of A Feather star Linda Robson, darts ace Eric Bristow and former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts.
As she arrived in Brisbane, she said: "I've worked seven years as an MP and never taken a day off in Parliamentary time.
"Parliament is in half-term. The important thing is 16 million people watch this show. Rather than MPs talking to one another, they should be talking to 16 million people." An ITV source said: "She is feisty and has already got people worked up."
